I'm drawn to photography because I get to save your special moments and seasons of life. No matter how fuzzy our memories get, our photos will always take us back, what a treasure that is!
MY SERVICES
I take a storytelling approach to your session. I encourage my families, brands and individuals to come as they are while upping it a few notches with light coordinating and styling.
I LOVE all the messy moments, pauses, tears, smiles, and unknowns that can come with photo sessions. We won't be sitting still and I'll only expect the real personalities to shine through :) This applies to families, kiddos, portraits and brands, everyone will have my full attention and support.
I will help with the location and what to wear. I don't want you buying anything new if it's not necessary and we'll work together to review your options. If buying fun new clothes is the plan, that's amazing! Your session comes with a style guide that goes into more detail, so for now just know that whether you're a business owner, a parent planning family photos, or an individual looking for portraits, I will ensure your photos are authentic to you.
Does your family love pancakes on Sunday mornings, riding bikes down a dirt road, getting ice cream on Friday evenings, playing guitar on the back porch, running free among the wild flowers, or flying kites at the park? I want your life reflected back on you, so when we plan your session I'm asking questions to help guide you toward a location and style that will feel like you today and 10 years from now. I want your photo albums and framed photos to not just be a photo, I want you to look at those photos and really truly feel them. My goal with each session is to deliver images that tell your unique story.

"From maternity to newborn and for the much needed holiday card photo. Our now four year old was 2.5 years old when we did our first photo session with Christy and she somehow captured the most authentic, cheerful smiles from our little girl who is very serious, reserved and cautious in unknown settings like a photo session! I was shocked when I saw the pictures and how she captured the energy of our sweet girl. Something else that I really appreciate is that she comes prepared. I wasn’t expecting a windy day and my hair was a mess but I didn’t bring a hair tie. But guess who did? Christy! It’s what you see.” I believe in photographing those little things you might not even notice that truly capture you and your sweeties. The in-between moments, glances, crinkle-eye smiles, goosebumps. There’s nothing more beautiful and fascinating to me than the pure joy, excitement, and comfort of two people wildly in love.
