As a storytelling lifestyle photographer based in the Columbia River Gorge, I invite families, brands, and individuals to come as they are, genuine, relaxed, and real. All while gently elevating the moment through thoughtful styling and light coordination that stays true to you.
I love all the messy, beautiful in-between moments that come with a photo session, the pauses, the unexpected tears, the belly laughs, the shy smiles, and all the little unknowns that make each story unique. You won’t be asked to sit still or pretend to be anyone else. Whether it’s a family photo session, a branding shoot, or portraits of your wild and wonderful kiddos, I’m here for the real stuff, the personality, the chaos, and the connection. My sessions are relaxed, supportive, and fully focused on helping you feel seen. You’ll have my complete attention and care from start to finish, no matter who's in front of the lens.
As your photographer, I’ll help you choose a location that feels true to you and guide you on what to wear. No need to buy anything new unless you want to! Every session includes a style guide, and together we’ll plan a look that reflects your life, whether you're a business owner, a parent, or simply someone wanting meaningful portraits.
Does your family make pancakes on Sundays, ride bikes at sunset, or run barefoot on the beach? I ask intentional questions to help shape a session that feels like you, today and many many years from now. My goal: images that don’t just look beautiful, but that feel like your unique story.

"From maternity to newborn and for the much needed holiday card photo. Our now four year old was 2.5 years old when we did our first photo session with Christy and she somehow captured the most authentic, cheerful smiles from our little girl who is very serious, reserved and cautious in unknown settings like a photo session! I was shocked when I saw the pictures and how she captured the energy of our sweet girl. Something else that I really appreciate is that she comes prepared. I wasn’t expecting a windy day and my hair was a mess but I didn’t bring a hair tie. But guess who did? Christy! It’s what you see.” I believe in photographing those little things you might not even notice that truly capture you and your sweeties. The in-between moments, glances, crinkle-eye smiles, goosebumps. There’s nothing more beautiful and fascinating to me than the pure joy, excitement, and comfort of two people wildly in love.
